Ah, Coronation Street. It wouldn't be Weatherfield if there wasn't a birth and a death and a scandalous pregnancy every other week. And last night all that scandal was left up to Pat Phelan's daughter, Nicola. Well, the scandalous pregnancy bit, anyway. After having a one night stand with Gary, who she unsuspectingly met in a club, Nicola discovered that she was pregnant. However, when she was breaking the news to dad Pat (who seemed fairly grand with the whole thing until he heard who the father was), viewers of the show were more than a bit confused. Mainly because Nicola had only slept with Gary max 11 days ago.
