Corrie actor Dean Fagan proposes to girlfriend of nine years

"Can't believe she said yes".

Coronation Street's Dean Fagan is now engaged to his girlfriend of 'nine almost ten years', Louise Pridding, sharing the happy news on Instagram. Dean, who plays mechanic Luke Britton, is clearly over the moon judging by his delighted caption accompanying the sweet photo. Sharing the below snap of the pair, he wrote:

"After making her wait 9 nearly 10 years!!! I finally led her down a dark path and asked her to marry me. Can't believe she said yes! But glad she did. My best friend and now fiance. My pea".

Actress Louise was also quick to post the happy news with the below message and a number of recent snaps from their holiday in Spain.

"Do I even need to say it.... I said yes!  After leading me down a dark path in southern Spain, Dean asked me to marry him. Ahhh love! I'm absolutely over the moon, my best friend now my fiancé".
