Corrie fans in stitches after an intimate revelation about Phelan

Coronation Street viewers were in stitches tonight.

Pat Phelan is one of the worst villains ever to arrive on the Corrie cobbles but for one night at least, he inadvertently gave people watching a great laugh. Although he's terrifying because people know what he's capable of, his character may not be taken so seriously now we know he has a tattoo of Gary Linker. Not just anywhere either as the tattoo is on his bum. You can imagine what Corrie viewers made of that and many took to Twitter to laugh at this new piece of information.

Phelan's daughter Nicola ran into Gary, the father of her baby, on tonight's episode and he asked her what was in the magazine she had bought. It turned out that she had bought the magazine for her father who's a big fan of Everton football team so much so that he has a tattoo of a former player. Unsurprisingly, Twitter had a field day with this new information although, Nicola was probably just having a joke at Phelan's expense.
