Were you watching tonight’s show?
Coronation Street fans were left shocked after this evening’s episode featured violent scenes.
David Platt and Gary Windass were opponents in a charity boxing match but the trauma of recent weeks proved too much for David and he took his aggression out in the ring.
As regular Corrie viewers will know, David was drugged and raped by Josh Tucker last month and Josh has denied everything.
David was a last-minute entry to the match, standing in for Tyrone Dobbs and at first, Gary was the clear winner.

However, when Josh appeared, his sly comments riled David up and he took his anger out on Gary.
He knocked him unconscious and viewers were shocked by the violence taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on tonight’s episode.
