According to Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine though, produces have found another novel way to ensure that viewers are none-the-wiser to her ever-growing bump - by sticking her behind a Ford Fiesta.
Yeah, really.
Speaking on Lorraine earlier today, Jennie explained how the crew were hiding her bump.
"OK so we started with perhaps a mug like this and then we went on to a handbag. I kid you not, last week they hid it with a Ford Fiesta."A literal Ford Fiesta, like. Iconic.
Jennie is expecting her second child later this year.
She and husband Chris Parr are already parents to four-year-old Albert, who the mum says was looking forward to the birth of his new brother or sister... until he got bored.
"He was excited... And then after, a bit like you, he gets bored of waiting," she said.
