Dani Dyer is a woman who has every opportunity open to her right now.
Yes, after winning the hearts of the nation and eventually the title on this year’s Love Island, she’s become a household name (and not because her dad’s already was!).
However, while she may be rolling in all sorts of offers right now, that wasn’t always the case.
According to reports, Dani actually auditioned for a role alongside her famous father on EastEnders prior to her reality TV appearances and didn’t get the part.
Yep, they passed up on Dani The Deadliest Dyer.
Speaking to the Daily Star about the potential of joining the gang on Albert Square after her successful stint in the villa, Dani said:
“I don’t know about EastEnders. They wouldn’t let me on it,” she told them of the utter cheek of BBC producers.
“I think it’s because my dad is already on it and there would be a massive outrage.”
Pfft!
The 22-year-old was reportedly gutted when she heard she hadn’t gotten the part on the soap.
But we think she’s all smiles now as many more doors have been opened thanks to her lovable personality.
