Danny Boyle In Talks To Take Over The Steve Jobs Biopic, Has His Eye On Leonardo DiCaprio For Main Role

Well, this is exciting...

When Steve Jobs sadly passed away in 2011, there were more than a few people willing to bring his story to the big screen. Initially, David Fincher had been attached to direct the project.

However, a couple of problems arose during talks for the film, namely the $10 million sum that Fincher was demanding for making the project and his wish for Christian Bale to play the starring role, who seemed to have been attached to the project.

With various problems arising from the talks, it was announced that Fincher would not be directing the film, but this is perhaps exciting news for Danny Boyle fans as the British director is currently in talks to take over filming.

Even more exciting, apparently Boyle is targeting Leonardo DiCaprio for the film and despite the fact that Bale may have been a better choice for leading role, this is looking like an interesting development.

On the other hand, Leo has been set up to star in The Revenant for Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu, which is scheduled to start filming in the fall.

We might just have to wait and see on this one but this is exciting to say the least.
