Everyone loves to laugh at Danny Dyer... whether you’re cringeing through his latest interview or smirking to yourself as you read his latest bizarre and idiotic tweet, he always provides a few laughs.
So, you would think his latest film, a comedy, would be a barrel of laughs, wouldn’t you.
But Danny’s latest acting endeavour has been met with scathing reviews and figures revealed today show that the film bombed at the box office at the weekend and only managed to scrape in €863 (£747).
The film, Run For Your Wife, is an adaptation of a hit West End stage show of the same name and features a host of famous faces including Denise Van Outen and Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud.
The storyline centres around a London cabby who is juggling two spouses and the trailer describes it as the "Laugh out loud film of the year." However reviews for the film have been scathing.
Total Film describes it as "one long, laughter-averse ordeal studded with D-listers short of panto work". Harsh.
But with the film set to open in over 60 cinemas this weekend, hopefully Danny’s flop will pull in the punters and break the €1000 mark.
