It’s making a comeback.

The organisers of All Together Now have confirmed dates for the festival’s third year, which will take place between 31 July – 3 August 2020.

In a statement issued today, the festival acknowledged that there were major organisational problems with this year’s festival, and they have promised to work on these issues ahead of next year.

“Firstly, the All Together Now Team would like to say we are absolutely and fully committed to making sure that the issues that arose this year’s festival are not repeated. We have taken in every comment, every email and are carefully taking note of where we need to improve,” the statement read.

“We have met and are working closely with An Garda Siochana and our other partner agencies to ensure that the traffic experienced travelling to this year’s festival does not happen again. We aim for the highest standards and plan to deliver the best festival experience possible.”

Some attendees of the Waterford musical festival found themselves trapped in seven or eight hours of traffic while waiting to enter the Curraghmore Estate.

The statement concedes that some elements of the festival “fell short of expectations,” saying “we are truly sorry.”

Organisers further confirmed that the capacity of the festival would not increase next year, and that entry would remain restricted to over-21s, or under-12s as part of a family ticket.

Attendees next year will also have the option of paying for their ticket in instalments. The new instalment plan will allow customers buy a General or Family Weekend Ticket to All Together Now and spread the cost across five payments. General & Family Weekend Tickets will be priced at priced at €44.00 per month for five withdrawals.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on 29 August, at a cost of €220.00 including booking fee.
