Mandy Harvey is a singer from Orlando in Florida who recently auditioned on America's Got Talent.
Via her interpreter, she told the judging panel on the show that she had lost her hearing at the age of 18.
Incredibly, she was able to re-learn how to sing after becoming ill though muscle memory and using muscle memory.
"After I lost my hearing, I gave up but I want to do more with my life than just give up," she said.
She sang a song she had written herself, Try.
