And now the forthcoming series – fronted, of course, by Dermot Bannon – is being given something of a celebrity twist.
Yes, Daniel and Majella O’Donnell will star in one of the episodes… following a chance meeting at a design trade show.
According to The Sunday World, the couple approached the well-known architect earlier this year asking him help them with some home improvements.
Daniel told the publication that although they weren’t planning on starring on Room To Improve, they are now delighted to be taking part.
Dermot himself added: “Daniel and Majella live on the wild rugged Atlantic coastline within a breathtaking landscape of lush green carpet broken by a dramatic rockscape.”
Majella will assume the role of project manager as her husband will be on tour; they’re hopeful that renovations will be completed by Christmas.
