The time has finally arrived, people.

It’s been a lot of anticipation but Disney+ is finally landing in Ireland TOMORROW. And it’s safe to say that we are pretty damn excited.

We’ve already signed ourselves up to a yearly subscription for their streaming service (of course) and we’re assuming you have too. If not, and you’re still on the fence about whether you should, then let us help you out. You absolutely should and here’s why.

Disney+ is not just a streaming service for your classic Disney Princess movies (although those movies are, of course, also there for our streaming pleasure). When you subscribe to Disney+, you’ll be getting access to SO MANY Disney movies, both animation and live-action, as well as all the Pixar, Marvel, The Simpsons and the Star Wars movies, and National Geographic’s fantastic documentaries.

You can visit the Death Star, dive to the bottom of the ocean, visit Belle in her magical library, experience new adventures, and learn all things weird and wonderful about the world we live in.

Dig up old favourites like Mary Poppins if you want to laugh, Old Yeller if you want to cry, and Oliver and Company if you need something cute to make you smile. Or if you seriously want to escape from the world and sink into a movie marathon of your childhood tv shows, you have the likes of Lizzie McGuireWizards of Waverly Place, That’s So Raven, Kim Possible, and Recess to keep you company.

It’s all-encompassing entertainment with loads of your old favourites, plenty of your new favourites, and oodles of never-before-seen films, series, and documentaries that are available exclusively to Disney+ subscribers. There will be over 500 movies and 350 tv shows to get stuck into once the service arrives. Including, of course, the hugely anticipated The Mandalorian series from the Star Wars franchise that has been released exclusively on Disney+. We have a hunch that that may be one of our new favourite shows. And being able to watch The Child whenever we want certainly won’t hurt either. Ah would ya look – so cute!

So when is Disney+ officially arriving in Ireland? All subscribers will be able to start streaming this March 24. Yep, we know, tomorrow. It’s so soon – we can’t wait!

Subscriptions are €6.99 a month or €69.99 for the year. However, if you sign up for a yearly subscription right now (as in today, before the end of March 23!), you can get it for just €59.99. We think that’s a pretty good deal for an entire year of top-quality movies and series.

You can sign up right here on their preview website to get that sweet €10 discount and be ready to start streaming as soon as it lands tomorrow.

Goodness knows we need some great movies and tv shows to keep us occupied at the moment. What better way to spend some cosy time indoors than snuggling up on the couch with a Disney movie?
