Disney has revealed that the new Star Wars movies will be focussing in on origin stories.
The new movies will begin with Star Wars: Episode VII but the franchise will also see a variety of standalone films.
It has been rumoured that the origin stories will feature characters from the original trilogy by George Lucas.
"The sky's the limit," said Disney chief financial officer Jay Rasulo.
"There's incredible flexibility. It's an unbelievable palette to create from."

The stars of the original trilogy, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Ford (Han Solo), have all been rumoured to return.
But which characters will they feature in the origin stories? There have been no confirmations yet but we’re hoping that Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobe, Han Solo and Boba Fett are on the list!
