‘Easier to use’… Snapchat is about to get a very cool new makeover

We love Snapchat.

But one thing is for sure - we found it hard to use when we first installed the app. From always swiping the wrong way, to not knowing how to find someone, it was much harder to use than the likes of Instagram or Twitter. But it seems like all of that is about to change as the Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel announced to Variety that's it's getting a big makeover in 2018. According to Variety, Evan said: "One thing that we have heard over the years is that Snapchat is difficult to understand or hard to use. "As a result, we are currently redesigning our application to make it easier to use." He continued on to say that it will become way more personalised, and will reflect the likes of Facebook and Twitter. “Ultimately, what we found is that the best predictor of what people are interested in and want to watch is actually what they’re watching,” he said. “I think there’s an opportunity here for us to create a really great personalized content service.” And if you're an Android user, it's good news: “To attract more Android users, we are building a new version of our Android application from the ground up that we will launch in select markets before rolling it out widely.” Do you think you'll be a fan of the changes?
