EastEnders actress to appear in Game of Thrones season 8

Keeley Ryan

From Albert Square to King’s Landing.

One of the former residents of Walford will be moving to Westerns when Game of Thrones returns next year.

The HBO epic is expected to debut its eighth and final season in 2019.

And Eastenders’ Alice Nokes, who played Courtney Mitchell in 2016, has reportedly landed a role in season 8.

Game of Thrones fan site Watchers on the Wall made the discovery after looking at the actress’ online CV.

It briefly stated that she would be appearing as a character named Willa in an episode directed by David Nutter, who is at the helm for episodes 1, 2 and 4 for the new season.

The entry has since been removed.

Filming is currently underway for the final six episodes of Game of Thrones, but eagle-eyed fans reckon that Nokes may have already filmed her scenes.

The actress posed for a photo on social media alongside Danielle Galligan and Emer McDaid in Belfast, where the show is filmed.

Both of the other actresses have been confirmed to be joining the show.

According to Digital Spy, Galligan captioned the photo:

“Aaaaaand that’s a wrap #Belfast #BelVeryFast @emermcdaid @alicehollynoakes”
