Donna Yates left Albert Square last night – but her exit left EastEnders fans furious.
The market trader, played by Lisa Hammond, made a hasty exit out of Walford after it was discovered she planted drugs on Rainie Cross/Branning.
Max convinced his wife to let him handle the situation, and the two of them actually appeared to sort things out. Donna apologised, claiming Cora Cross for making her doubt Rainie’s ability to take care of baby Abi.
However, at the same time, Donna’s boyfriend Robbie was hearing the full story from Rainie – and then went home to confront his girlfriend. The pair had an all-out row, which ended with Robbie questioning their future.
He ended up visiting with Max, who told him that he should forgive Donna as she’s a good person. But when Robbie went back to the flat he shared with his girlfriend, he found that Donna had taken her things and had left.
He may have not been able to say goodbye, although Donna did trade words with Rainie as she sat in her cab that was about to leave from Albert Square.
But fans weren’t too impressed about the low-key exit, since many believed Donna deserved a better storyline – and she didn’t even get the famous duff duff duffs.

Haven't watched this week yet, but given how long it took for Donna to grow on me, it's disappointing that are exit revolved around her being so awful. #EastEnders

So that was Donna's exit… a bit simple don't you think? One fight with Robbie and she bails.#EastEnders
