EastEnders fans are all saying the same thing about last night’s episode

They're not wrong, like.

Halloween was only on Wednesday but it felt like it had been going on for ages - mostly since the celebrations started the week beforehand. And while the rest of us have spent the first 24 hours after the spook-tacular holiday scrolling through Instagram and catching up on everyone's costumes for this year (and eating any leftover sweets), the celebrations in Albert Square are still going on. Yes, really. The long-running soap kicked off its Halloween stories on Monday, when Hayley went into labour and Billy offered to look after the children so Honey and Adam could spend some time together. Last night, most of the stories came to a head: Hayley was rushed to the hospital after she was found unconscious after delivering her baby alone, while Keegan broke down; worried he had killed someone in a knife attack. But even this is starting to stretch things out a bit too far. It comes as actor Dean Gaffney revealed an "iconic" character is going to be returning for the next stream of holiday episode - Christmas. The actor, who plays Robbie Jackson, told Digital Spy:

"It's Christmas in Walford. It speaks for itself! We've got a returnee coming back, which is exciting!

"For me, personally, I'm a good friend of this person — whoever they may be! I think they're iconic with EastEnders.

"There's certain people that come back to a show, they might not add to it, but this person definitely adds to it!

"It's good to have this person back. Their storyline at Christmas will be very interesting."
