EastEnders’ Louisa Lytton hints at a ‘juicy’ New Year storyline

EastEnders‘ Louisa Lytton has hinted at a ‘juicy’ New Year storyline involving Stacey Slater.

The 30-year-old spoke to The Sun at the Pride of Britain awards earlier this week, where she teased what fans can expect.

Lacey Turner has been on maternity leave after she welcomed her daughter, Dusty Violet.

Her character, Stacey,  was forced to flee Walford with her husband, Martin, after she attacked Phil Mitchell with a wrench. She also made a brief return again late last month, when she secretly met Martin at a hotel.

And Lytton has revealed that there are some exciting comeback plans in play for when Stacey does return.

“There is a big storyline coming up next year,” she said. “Lacey Turner is back from maternity leave so things are going to get very juicy, but I can’t say anything else.”

“I’m not being killed off… so that’s a good thing,” she added.

The actress first appeared in EastEnders in 2005. She reprised her role as Ruby Allen in September 2018.

“I was there as a child and when I came back 15 years later it still felt like the family I left behind,” she added. “I love it there. It’s a great job to have and everyone is so supportive.”
