They have teamed up for what's tipped to be the Christmas movie of the year and for fans of Love Actually/The Holiday, this news is going to make your day. Last Christmas is all about the fuzzy feel-good feelings with Kate (Emilia Clarke) in the starring role, she hates her job working in as an elf and yeah, you know where this is going. Predictable it might be but we're not about to let this rain on our festive parade. It's guaranteed to soften the hardest of hearts as Kate meets Tom and pours out her innermost feelings including how she once almost died and is now constantly scared. Tom is played by Henry Golding of Crazy Rich Asians fame and his former co-star Michelle Yeoh also pops up in the appropriately named Last Christmas.

With Tom's support, Kate starts to live again and that's where the film comes into its own with some really gorgeous moments as they share new experiences, falling in love along the way. Director is Paul Feig of Bridesmaids fame and with Emma Thompson co-writing the script, we couldn't possibly be more excited about this upcoming Christmas movie. Not only that, it features some previously unheard George Michael music with the title of the movie a fitting tribute to one of the industry's biggest names.
