Note to self, don’t cross Emma Watson.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson went to school while she was filming the hugely popular franchise. Due to her blossoming film career she began to attract quite a lot of attention and in order to maintain a normal school life, she took some drastic measures.

According to The Tab, Emma’s fellow pupils were under strict instruction that they were not allowed to talk to her about Harry Potter or ask her for an autograph. They were threatened with a penalty points system – three strikes and you were sent to detention and your parents would be notified.

Emma went to Headington School in Oxford, where the fees are £30,000 per year, so it’s no surprise really that she didn’t want to spend her time talking about the movie.

Her fellow classmate Lucy said, “Of course if you were friends with her you could speak to her, but no one was allowed to go up and ask for an autograph or anything.”

Another girl, Lydia, also said, “But nobody ever dared to ask her for an autograph. I remember being told about it quite formally, and was really scared of getting a penalty point. At the time it would have been so embarrassing.”

Other girls who went to the school were just happy with the slightest interaction with the star it seems with Fionnuala Gregan saying, “I once leant back on a cafeteria bench and my back touched hers,” and Zoe Wilks adding, “She once asked me ‘is this the back of the pasta queue?’”
