However, yesterday Rebecca tried to make excuses for Lachlan, saying that he was just confused and messed up when he assaulted Alicia and that everything was pretty much OK now and everyone should just get over it.

This came after Priya admitted that she was afraid Lachlan was going to attack her too.
And although Lachlan was actually planning to confront Priya because he thought she had seen him attempt to murder Freddie, her fear was still justified and should have been treated accordingly.
