Uh oh.

Emmerdale has finally confirmed Rebecca White's fate following her run-in with her murderous nephew Lachlan last week - and it's not good news. She hasn't been seen in the village since last week, when she caught Lachlan trying to kill Robert Sugden and Liv Flaherty. Fans had been left fearing the worst after Lachlan was seen holding a bloody spanner following their confrontation. But it was revealed tonight that Rebecca is actually alive - although, we're definitely worried for her. After a concerned Robert Sugden discovered her passport in her room, he realised that she wasn't in Ibiza like he had said - and Lachlan fled the pub, heading out to a secret location. She then appeared to call Robert, telling him that she was going to be gone from the village for a little while...and the camera panned to Lachlan, who was playing a recording of Rebecca's voice down the phone. His distraught aunt's face then appeared in the background, as it was revealed that Lachlan had chained her to a post in an abandoned cottage. Once he made sure that Robert and the rest of the villagers were off his trail, he came back and spoke to a tearful Rebecca. As she pointed out that he couldn't keep her there forever, Lachlan replied:

"No maybe not, then again after the phone call, nobody is going to be wondering where you are for ages now, the pressure is off."

He said it gave her "time to think" about what he was going to do next.
