Emmerdale’s Graham Foster to be ‘murdered’ in explosive new storyline

Emmerdale‘s Graham Foster is set to be murdered, according to reports.

The death of the character played by Andrew Scarborough will spark a massive whodunnit mystery – and there’s going to be a number of suspects.

According to The Sun, the plot will kick off when Graham tries to leave the village – and will run long into 2020.

“Bosses know Graham is one of the show’s most popular characters so it’s not a decision that’s been taken lightly,” an insider told the publication.

“They wanted to give him the ultimate send-off and what better way than a grisly murder?”

The storyline is said to kick off a “massive new year” for Emmerdale, with “the Tates firmly at the forefront where they belong.”

The source added that Emmerdale bosses have spent “months” incorporating little details to give fans of the soap a hint about who killed Graham – and why they did it.

“It’s going to be explosive and definitely one to watch,” they continued.

Andrew Scarborough’s departure from the soap was announced earlier this year. His character, Graham, arrived in the ‘dales in 2017.

“Andrew’s been a great addition to the cast and has been involved in some of Emmerdale’s biggest storylines since he arrived in the village in 2017,” an insider told the Daily Star [via The Sun].

“So he was never going to leave in the back of a taxi. His exit will be huge and will kick start a drama filled and action packed year in the Dales.”
