An extended version of A Star Is Born is coming to certain cinemas for one week

More Ally and Jackson? YES PLEASE.

Anna O'Rourke

Are you fed up of A Star Is Born yet?

Nope, us neither.

It feels like the film has been out for a solid four years at this point but that hasn’t stopped us swooning over everything Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga do together and blasting Shallow on repeat.

Anyone with the same level of obsession as us will be delighted to hear that there’s even more A Star Is Born coming soon.

It’s been announced that the film will be rereleased into select cinemas across North America later this week – with 12 minutes of bonus footage.

Diehard fans (who have probably seen the film multiple times already, TBH) will be able to relive it again and enjoy even more Jackson and Ally than before.

The new parts feature extended performances of some songs, as well as the pair writing a new song together called Clover.

As the folks at Vulture have worked out, the extra 12 minutes make this extended cut of the film 8 per cent longer than the original.

Sadly it doesn’t look good for movie fans on this side of the Atlantic as the announcement just applies to North America.

Still, you can console yourself by picking up tickets for the drive-in, singalong screenings of A Star Is Born taking place in Dublin next month.
