Fair City’s Aoife attacks Oisín as she tries to get confession to Karen’s murder

Keeley Ryan

Uh oh.

Fair City fans are set for another week of explosive drama as the cops of Carrigstown are continuing to chase the person who murdered Karen.

WARNING: The rest of this story contains spoilers for Fair City.

And it will all kick off tonight when a knife-wielding Aoife goes after Oisín, who was arrested on suspicion of murder last week, in an extreme move for a confession.

Detective Inspector Yates initially ends up trying to comfort the distraught Aoife as she gets more and more frustrated about the fact that Oisín has been released.

Oisin continues to maintain his innocence, even when Paul hints that he’s one of the suspects for Karen’s murder.

Robbie begins to fear the worst, worrying that Aoife has gone after Oisín after he is unable to get ahold of her – and nearly ends up catching her as she corners Oisín.

A desperate Aoife, searching for answers about her daughter’s murder, catches Oisín off guard when she arrives seeking answers – and even more so when she produces a knife, threatening him to confess.

But even when Oisín points out that there’s “no evidence” against him, Aoife still isn’t backing down.

Insisting that she wants him to confess to the murder – which Oisin continues to deny he even committed – Aoife takes things a step farther and grabs a knife.

She tells him:

“You’re going to confess right now or I’ll leave you here, whimpering in a pool of blood, just like you did to Karen.”

Worried about Aoife, Robbie ends up turning to Oisín’s dad, Paul.

And while the pair are able to intervene, Oisín’s reaction ends up casting some doubts for Paul about his son’s innocence.

Aoife is equally convinced that Oisín was about to confess to killing Karen.
