The final season of The Sinner has just landed on Netflix

So. Many. Questions.

Don’t lie to yourself, we’re all suckers for a good crime drama and a bit of murder mystery, and Netflix is currently home to some of our favourites.

The Sinner on Netflix is quickly taking over as everyone’s favourite thriller crime drama and the fourth and final season has just landed on the streaming service.

Produced by Jessica Biel herself, the series has taken many twists and turns over the last three seasons, and with the fourth dropping now, we see the show switching completely and the perpetrator is presented in the first few episodes, showing us the motive behind their crimes.

The show follows Detective Harry Ambrose through a dark case, with the synopsis for this season reading: “Still reeling from the trauma of a previous case a year ago, the now-retired Harry Ambrose travels to Hanover Island in northern Maine for a recuperative getaway with his partner, Sonya (Jessica Hecht).

“When an unexpected tragedy occurs involving the daughter of a prominent island family, Ambrose is recruited to help the investigation, only to be thrown into a mystery of mounting paranoia that will turn this sleepy tourist island, and Ambrose’s life, upside down.”

With this being the end of the series, we’ll finally get the answers that have stuck with us for three seasons, and the story will come to a close.

And in this final season, it looks like this could be Detective Ambrose’s most notorious case yet.

As we saw from the trailer, all eyes are on Ambrose as a suspect and it’s down to him to figure out exactly what happened to Percy, who seemed to have jumped off a cliff willingly.

Her own mother then tells Ambrose “you need to let this go,” as her family close in, but our biggest question? Will Ambrose manage to get to the end of this?
