First Dates Ireland are searching for single people to take part in the show

First Dates Ireland returned to our TV screens this week.

And boy, did it deliver.

There was a brilliant mother-daughter double date that had fans in stitches, as well as a verrrrrry awkward end to another possible romance.

For the rest of the series, cupid First Dates Ireland are going to do their best to help singletons find that spark with their perfect match.

And if you – or anyone you know – are on the lookout for love at the moment, then the show wants you to apply ASAP.

The producers of the show, COCO Television, have put a call out to find singletons to take part in the next series of the beloved RTÉ Show.

Yes, that’s right: First Dates Ireland are looking for people between the ages of 20 to 70 plus to be ‘featured daters’ for the next series.

They said:

“In First Dates, single people from across Ireland come to the First Dates restaurant where they have a real blind date.

“Joining maître D’ Mateo Saina, are barman Ethan Miles, and waters Alice, Pete and Libby, who help set the scene and give romance the best possible chance to flourish.

“First Dates Ireland is filmed in Coda Eatery at The Gibson Hotel where every moment is captured by over 20 cameras in the first fixed-rig show of its kind to be made in Ireland.

“The singletons who visit the restaurant range in age from 20 to 70 plus. The unobtrusive cameras allow the daters to forget they are being filmed and start bonding… or not!”

If you fancy applying – or are simply looking for more information – you can check out the full list of requirements here.
