The first look at season two of GLOW is here and we can’t wait

Season two is already underway.

They’re back.

Netflix’s GLOW was one of our favourite series of 2017 – and we’ve long been waiting for some news about season two.

The comedy-drama follows struggling actress Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) as she auditions for The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW).

And fans were delighted when the streaming service ordered a second 10-episode season – despite no date on when production would be starting.

But it looks like things for the series are well and truly underway after Alison Brie shared a behind the scenes snap.

Co-star Betty Gilpin is decked out in her silver unitard, portrayed for Debbie ‘Liberty Belle’ Eagan.

And while Brie doesn’t look totally ring ready, she’s channeling Zoya The Destroya (her character’s wrestling alter ego) with her hair and makeup.

GLOW was first released on Netflix on June 23, and the streaming giant delighted fans less than two months later when they confirmed season two was given the green light.

GLOW (which stands for Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling), and focuses on a group of ladies – fronted by Community and Mad Men star Alison Brie – who find themselves in the 80s-tastic world of glitter, glory, and glam-rock inspired wrestling outfits.

The show also starts stand up comedian Marc Maron and iconic indie musician Kate Nash.
