Frankie Foster shares official statement following his split with Samira

An amicable split?

Earlier today, Frankie Foster and Samira Mighty confirmed that they have gone their separate ways making them the first couple from Love Island 2018 to split up. Samira's representative shared a statement on behalf of the reality TV star and now Frankie has had his say. Frankie has said that his actions are not "acceptable" and he has apologised to his former girlfriend for cheating on her. As fans of the show know, Samira left the show after Frankie's departure because she didn't want to stay in the villa without him. According to OK Online, a spokesperson for Frankie released the below statement this evening where he echoed what Samira had said and also apologised for cheating on her.

"Frankie and Samira have both decided to take a break from their relationship and focus on themselves for now. "They have decided to remain civil and have some space apart to decide on what they want to do. Frankie wholeheartedly knows that his actions were not acceptable and has apologised to Samira. "At this moment in time having their own space is most important."
