Fury as Lady Gaga and A Star Is Born snubbed for major Golden Globes

Fairly surprising they didn’t pick up any major awards, tbh.

There’s been a considerable amount of fury, anger, and genuine disappointment since A Star is Born’s failure to pick up any major awards at last night’s Golden Globes.

The film, that received glowing reviews from critics and audiences alike, was snubbed from the Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director awards, finally picking up some recognition for Best Song with Gaga’s and Mark Ronson’s ‘Shallow.’

Rather, many of the major awards of the night went, surprisingly, to Bohemian Rhapsody which picked up both Best Picture and Best Actor for Rami Malek.

Glenn Close went home with the Best Actress award for her performance in The Wife.

But despite Close’s deserved award, people were still absolutely baffled by the lack of appreciation paid to Gaga’s and Cooper’s film.

All is not lost though, thankfully, as the Golden Globes is only one of the first of this year’s awards ceremonies A Star Is Born will be competing in.

Just giver Gaga the Oscar instead, be grand.
