Rather, many of the major awards of the night went, surprisingly, to Bohemian Rhapsody which picked up both Best Picture and Best Actor for Rami Malek.
Glenn Close went home with the Best Actress award for her performance in The Wife.
But despite Close's deserved award, people were still absolutely baffled by the lack of appreciation paid to Gaga's and Cooper's film.
