Galway Have Landed the Support of a Certain Home and Away Legend Before Sunday

Head away Kilkenny, ya flamin' galahs, the battle for best supporter is over. Home and Away legend Alf Stewart (aka actor Ray Meagher) has thrown his weight behind the City of the Tribes ahead of this Sunday's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final. Speaking to iRadio, the hugely popular Australian soap star said: "I want to talk to you about 1988, what a great year it was. Two things happened: Home and Away went to air for the first time in Australia and the Galway tribesmen won the All-Ireland Hurling Championship.
