Home and Away legend Alf Stewart (aka actor Ray Meagher) has thrown his weight behind the City of the Tribes ahead of this Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
Speaking to iRadio, the hugely popular Australian soap star said: “I want to talk to you about 1988, what a great year it was. Two things happened: Home and Away went to air for the first time in Australia and the Galway tribesmen won the All-Ireland Hurling Championship. That’s right folks, it was back in 1988 – a long time between drinks. But, it’s all gonna change this Sunday at Croke Park.
