“Never say never.”

Love Island star Gemma Owen has teased the idea of doing a reality show with her father, footballer Michael Owen.

At the National Television Awards last week, the pair spoke about the possibility of working together again following the success of their Amazon Prime ad.

The dressage rider told the Mirror that they would “love” to cook something up, but admitted that it should suit their talents.

“We’d love to do something else together,” Gemma said.

Michael stipulated that they wouldn’t do something if it involved singing or dancing, but a TV show might work.

“We could do a reality show,” the football player said, with Gemma adding, “Never say never.”

Michael then admitted that the offers have been coming in, but didn’t give an indication that they’ve accepted any.

“We’ve had lots of offers,” he said. “Who knows what the future holds?”

The Owens’ expression of interest in reality TV follows a recent report which claimed that Gemma was in talks around a potential reality show which focused on the lives of footballers’ daughters.

Last month, a source told The Sun: “Lime are developing the concept now and ITV have shown a real interest in it. Gemma is top of their casting wish list.

“Her dad Michael is one of England’s most famous footballing stars and given her huge popularity since she appeared on Love Island – she is the person they want signed up.”

Gemma and her boyfriend Luca Bish finished in second on this year’s edition of Love Island, behind Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, who are getting a reality series of their own.

Their show is titled Ekin Su & Davide: Homecomings, and it will see them visit each others hometowns in Italy and Türkiye.
