Googlebox fans will be disappointed to hear that popular duo Stephen Webb and Chris Steed may take their leave of the show to join Celebrity Big Brother.
Rumours this week have suggested that the Stephen and Chris are set to join this year’s CBB line-up although the news hasn’t been confirmed yet.
According to The Mirror, they could have to quit Gogglebox if they want to appear on the reality TV show.
A source spoke to The Sun earlier this week and said that CBB bosses are keen to get the duo on board.
The show’s producers are really keen to get them on and would be happy to pay up to £500,000 to see it happen,”.
“Everyone’s really excited at the prospect because they are so dynamic and they already know they make great TV. They’re fan favourites and their dry humour is bound to be hilarious in the house.”
Now, we would only LOVE to see their antics on the popular show but not at the expense of them leaving Gogglebox.
Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen!
