Granita, Grand Designs and The Great British Bake Off: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a baking competition to a drama flick, there's plenty to watch tonight! The Great British Bake Off – BBC One (8.00pm) The remaining three contestants battle it out in the final of the baking competition which involves a Signature Challenge, a Technical Challenge and of course the Showstopper.   Rachel Allen: All Things Sweet – RTÉ One (8.30pm) This week the chef is making poached peaches with raspberry sherbet, watermelon granita and melon popsicles, plus coconut and lime ice-cream. Grand Designs – Channel 4 (9.00m) A couple want to build a somewhat unconventional family home but are finding their decision to use unorthodox materials challenging. Scott & Bailey – UTV (9.00pm) Rachel is annoyed at Janet for keeping the truth from her and an unconscious baby is admitted to hospital with injuries that do not coincide with the story his parents are telling. The Company Men – RTÉ One (9.35pm) A number of employees find themselves without jobs and in a business world that has drastically changed over the years. Drama with Ben Affleck and Tommy Lee Jones.
