Grey’s Anatomy’s fans reckon they know which fan favourite may be returning

Grey's Anatomy fans reckon they have figured out who the fan favourite who may be checking back into Grey Sloan Memorial is.

Grey's showrunner Krista Vernoff has previously said she is "trying to get someone back" to the show for an appearance in season 16. And while she didn't specify who, fans of the long-running medical drama have been speculating it could be Sarah Drew (Dr. April Kepner) or Sandra Oh (Dr. Cristina Yang). However, they now reckon that it may be Kate Walsh who will be scrubbing back into Grey Sloan Memorial and reprise her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery. The actress recently said she would "love" to return to the show - although, she admitted she was "sworn to secrecy" as to whether it could actually happen. She told PopCulture:

"If it's the right time and the right storyline, yes. I always considered Shondaland my home, and particularly Grey's. "That's where it was just a big important piece of my life, and I love everyone involved on the show. So, absolutely I would go back if it made sense to everybody involved — yes."

The rest of this story contains spoilers for season 16 of Grey's Anatomy.  Given the recent pregnancy boom among the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial, it definitely would make sense for Addison to return. Especially as Amelia and Linc are going to become parents.
