If you woke up yesterday in a state of panic that you’d forgotten Mother’s Day, you’re not alone.
Yes, it was Mother’s Day in the US yesterday so much of our feed was dominated by Hollywood’s finest sharing loving messages for their mums or children.
One of those celebrities was Gwyneth Paltrow who posted a throwback photo from her first pregnancy, nearly 15 years ago.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Gwyneth told followers:
“Fourteen years ago on the verge of a life-changing morning…”
The mum-of-two went on to pay tribute to all parents with a touching post, adding.
“To all of us biological, adoptive, foster, spiritual, communal, all the den mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers and great-great-grandmothers, all the way back, happy Mother’s Day.”
The 45-year-old shared the picture from her pregnancy with her first child, Apple, who is now 13.
Apple was Gwyneth’s first child from her marriage to Chris Martin before they welcomed their second child, Moses, two years later.
