Add us as a preferred source on Google »Harry Styles is best known for his pop career, but the former 'X Factor' star also has his eyes on Hollywood.
The 'Golden' singer starred in both 'Don't Worry Darling' and 'My Policeman', but he nearly landed another iconic role.
According to 'Mean Girls' director Arturo Perez Jr, Harry Styles was considered for the role of Glen Coco.
We could've seen Styles take over from Christopher Briney but the role wasn't meant for him.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Perez said they really wanted to get Harry Styles involved.
Perez said they kept thinking about who would be the perfect Glen Coco.
"Who can it be? I remember us going, could we ask, like Harry Styles?" they asked.
Actress Samantha Jayne added: "We were like Harry Styles could be Glen Coco! Then we were like, hold on, we love to break the fourth wall: What if we are all Glen Coco? So, after 20 years, we can all feel like Glen Coco."
Styles may have been an incredible addition to the film, but we're hoping to see the singer appear in a rom-com sometime soon.
He may be taking a break from the spotlight, but we're eager for Styles to make his return to acting in a rom-com like 'The Proposal' or 'Notting Hill'.
Could Richard Curtis surprise us and pen another rom-com like 'Love Actually'? Styles does have the potential to be the next Hugh Grant, but it all depends on his next movie project.
Styles is currently taking a time out after touring for two years but we could see him starring alongside Sydney Sweeney in an enemies-lovers rom-com.
