Hasbro To Add Rey To Star Wars Monopoly After Negative Fan Reactions

Yesterday we brought you the story of Rey, the lead character of Star Wars: The Force Awakens being almost completely absent from official merchandise relating to the film. People on social media noticed the absence and were angered by the omission because Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) is the main character in the new installment of the series. In a statement tweeted out by the company, they announced that Rey would be included in the box later in 2016.

Hasbro has originally blamed the exclusion of Rey from the Monopoly set on being worried about spoilers for the film, but that didn't go down very well with fans online.
