Most baddies in animated films have a vendetta and they are sticking to it, until something light, fluffy and sweet crosses their path and you begin to realise they are not really the bad guy. Here are nine of the sweetest animated baddies.
1. Bruce - Finding Nemo
He's a nice guy really, he never knew his father! Poor Bruce was led astray by nature itself, he never wanted to hurt the little "bites", he just wanted to eat them...
2. Eve - WALL-E
She had a mission on Earth, but how could she resist the wonderful robot? Eve soon realised the error of her ways and Wall-E's love for her.
3. Gru - Despicable Me
Let's be fair, Gru was never really bad but there were a few little girls who had something to do with the big change.
4. Dragon - Shrek
She was just really lonely... and slightly protective.
5. Ken - Toy Story 3
Ken was blinded by the fact that he had a nice house, with a nice wardrobe. He never really wanted to hurt anyone, especially when Barbie became involved.
6. Beast - Beauty and the Beast
After a terrible curse was put on the Beast, it was only natural that he would automatically become suspicious of anyone he met but he was never really that evil... Well, only occasionally anyway.
7. Ralph - Wreck-It Ralph
Ralph hates being the bad guy, despite the fact that this is his employment. Ralph sets out on a mission to be the good guy, but is taught a few things along the way by the lovely Vanellope.
8. Mirage - The Incredibles
Sure, she works for the bad guy and she certainly does a good impression of being a little evil. However, Mirage is essentially good and when she witnesses the horrific treatment of Mr. Incredible, she soon sees the error of her ways.
9. Anton Ego - Ratatouille
If this doesn't warm your heart, nothing will. The food critic who broke our hearts...
Despicable Me 2 will be released in cinemas 28/06/2013 with special previews on the 22nd and 23rd of June.
