‘He Would Just Kick And Shove Me’ – TV Presenter Hits Out At Former ‘Strictly’ Partner

TV Presenter Fern Britton has described her experience of taking part in Strictly Come Dancing as "grim". The former Ready, Steady, Cook host appeared on the popular ITV show in 2012 but speaking this week, she accused her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev of being difficult to work with and "all teeth and muscles". She said that Chigvintsev told her that she was "not what I'm used to" due to her age and dancing ability and while the pair "did love each other for a moment or two", he "wasn’t charm personified". "I did kind of enjoy it but it was grim at the same time. We would be in hold and he would look at my feet and just kick me or shove me," she said. Britton finished tenth in the competition, with Chigvintsev leaving Strictly to join US dance show Dancing With The Stars in 2013.
