We’re not jealous at all.
A mini-hen party have gone viral this week after they met the Game of Thrones cast while they were out – but had no clue who they were.
Michelle O’Riordan’s original hen party was cancelled because of the recent snow, so her sisters Caitriona and Cliodhna got the train up from Cork over the weekend with their mum and sister-in-law Blathin to surprise her.
They ended up going for a couple of pints in Keogh’s pub off Grafton Street, where they found themselves next to Maisie Williams and Liam Cunningham – otherwise known as Davos Seaworthy and Arya Stark from the HBO series.
Caitriona told Today FM’s Muireann O’Connell:
“It was really quiet, just ourselves in the snug.
“A gang came in and we thought they knew the barman because they got served kind of quickly.
“My little sister Cliodhna thought she recognised one of them from ‘War of the Buttons’.
“Turns out he’s in ‘Game of Thrones’ as well. So were the rest of them, apparently. But we don’t watch it.”

She added that at one point, Maisie Williams had tried to move a stool from the table – only for mammy O’Riordan to shoo her away.
Caitriona continued:
“When Cliodhna recognised Liam Cunningham, she went over messing and was like ‘can you take a picture of us please?’ and he was a bit taken aback.”
A stuntman who was out with Liam and Maisie on the night convinced the mini-hen party to include the Dublin actor in the photo.
He then brought over Maisie to take a photo with Cliodhna who, Caitriona says, “turned around after and was like: ‘Who’s that?'”
She went on to call the pair “really sound” and “lovely”, before adding:
”We just weren’t taking much notice of them because we didn’t know they were anybody important.”
