"I just thought the fans deserved it. I've been on other shows and I've known people on historic shows, but the fanbase for this show is amazing. It's a religion to them. They get up and they watch it every morning before they go to work. They have to have it. It is beyond just fandom. Dedication on that level? "It's something I thought would never happen. The stars aligned and everybody had holes in their schedule and the will to do it. It was just really great to be there. It ended so abruptly. I was surprised at how much everybody appreciated every day and appreciated that level of work."Sadly, Scott kept quiet about the plot of the new series but did say that the relationship between Luke and Lorelai was always great. "The chemistry there is so electric." Only 68 days away!
