Here’s who’s on the Late Late Show tonight

Conor Heneghan

Donald Trump’s niece, one of the biggest GAA stars of the modern era and a little bit of Ant and Dec for good measure.

The Late Late Show returned for its 59th season last week, meaning thousands of people across the country will make a regular appointment for light (and sometimes serious) entertainment for Friday nights until well into next year.

Here’s who’s on the couch with Ryan tonight.

Majella Moynihan

Garda whistle-blower Majella Moynihan lifts the lid on her treatment at the hands of her superiors in An Garda Síochána, treatment which led apologies from the Garda Commissioner and Minister for Justice.

Mary Trump

Donald Trump’s niece will chat to Ryan about why she believes her uncle is out of his depth as well as her new book, which sheds some light on the Trump family behind the scenes.

Jane Fonda

Two-time Academy Award winner and certified Hollywood royalty Jane Fonda will join Ryan to discuss her recent arrest for highlighting the dangers of climate change as well as reminiscing on time spent in Northern Ireland.

Ant and Dec

Always a source of solid entertainment, the Geordie duo will preview the new (and rather different) series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Bernard Brogan

We had assumed Dublin GAA legend Bernard would be onto to talk about his new book, The Hill (we’re sure it will get a mention), but it seems, according to the man himself, that Ryan will “literally be putting me through my paces”.

What exactly does that mean? Only one way to find out.

There’ll also be music from The Academic as well as Stolen City, whose singer, Dave McCabe, was recently interviewed on Ryan’s radio show about staying positive in the wake of a leukaemia diagnosis.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.
