Here’s why Maura Higgins is yet to enter the jungle despite being on lineup

Fans were confused as to why she wasn't there last night

It comes after the County Longford native shared an Instagram story - from Las Vegas no less - just a day before the new series was supposed to start.

Higgins was spotted in the US while on a press trip with beauty retailers Space NK.

With most of the rest of the cast having already landed in Australia, fans were understandably concerned about whether or not she was actually going to appear on the show.

One person asked: "Are you going in I'm a celeb still?"

While another put: "Should you not be in Australia right now."

Worry not, I'm A Celeb fans, for The Sun reports that the former Love Island star is still heading into the jungle.

In fact, she is set to head in after one week, alongside Rev. Richard Coles.

A source also told the MailOnline: “She will be arriving this week, the brand trip was always part of the schedule as Maura had agreed to it and it fit into her arrival dates for the Jungle.”

The rest of the cast has already been plunged into the jungle, with the infamous Wagatha Christie trial already having been brought up to Coleen Rooney.
