Dermot O’Leary WILL return to present this year’s X Factor and we couldn’t be happier.
According to BBC News, Dermot is “very flattered to be asked back” and is currently “dusting off his dancing shoes”.
Dermot’s absence from the show last year saw Caroline Flack and Olly Murs take over presenting duties with the duo receiving mixed reviews from viewers.

Back in February, Olly and Caroline announced that they wouldn’t return for a second series and this led to speculation that Dermot would make a much-anticipated comeback.
In addition to Dermot’s return, room auditions are being brought back this year allowing the X Factor hopefuls to have the judges’ full attention in a quiet setting.
The series returns this autumn and it’s gearing up to be a big one.
