But did you know that in some countries, Home Alone is known under a completely different name - and some are very funny!
For the few people who may be watching this for the first time this year, the 1990 film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, a young boy who gets left at home alone as the rest of his huge family head off to enjoy a festive trip to Paris.
As he begins to enjoy his Chicago home in peace - without the nagging from his parents or the insults from his siblings - he soon is faced with a huge task on his hands. A pair of local burglars, Harry and Marv, think the house is empty, and have their sights set on the property and attempt to break in.
The youngster goes to extreme and hilarious lengths to try to protect his home.
According to IMDb, a number translations don’t actually translate back to Home Alone at all:
My Poor Little Angel and Shiver, Burglars! are our personal favourites in this list.
