Home and Away’s Steve Peacocke Lands Film Role

We were kind of devastated when we heard the news that Steve Peacocke was leaving Home and Away but his latest project has cheered us up immensely. According to Deadline the former soap star is heading for the big screen, alongside none other than Tina Fey and Margot Robbie. Apparently the trio are due to star in Paramount Pictures’ latest project based on Kim Barker’s memoir Taliban Shuffle. Tina Fey is due to star in the, as yet untitled, film. Fey will play the international affairs journalist, who reported in Afghanistan and Pakistan, while Peacocke has landed the role of her bodyguard and love interest. Earlier this month it was revealed that the heartthrob is leaving the popular Australian soap after four years playing Daryl ‘Brax’ Braxton.
