Hurry! There are still a few tickets left for one of Ed Sheeran’s gigs

Aiken Promotions has confirmed in the past half hour that there are still a handful of tickets left for Ed Sheeran's 2018 gig at Dublin's Phoenix Park. Over 300,000 tickets for his dates in Dublin, Galway, Belfast and Cork were sold today after the tickets went on sale at 9am, but if you're quick you could snap up the last few. It's a new record for Ed and his team - the most in one day in Ireland. Aiken Promotions congratulated them on the achievement.

"By choosing to bring his incredible new show around Ireland, Ed has created unbelievable excitement all over the country. His fans have embraced this with wide open arms, buying tickets in unprecedented numbers and in doing so, have helped to create a little bit of history here in Ireland."

Aiken also thanked fans for their patience this morning. Virtual queues and a four ticket per person limit meant the process for getting tickets was slow for many customers this morning.
