‘I Am In Desperate And Urgent Need Of My Family’ – Concern For Actor Following Twitter Appeal

Fans of Supernatural star Jared Padalecki have expressed their concern after the actor took to Twitter to appeal for help. The actor had been due to make several public appearances this week but cancelled abruptly on the social network on Friday, when he informed fans that he urgently needed to spend time with his family.

His manager later released a statement confirming that Padalecki was "very upset" at having to cancel his appearance at the events in Rome and Australia but had "pushed himself to his limits" and was suffering from exhaustion. "He's doing better already and is excited about shooting Supernatural Season 11 this July. For now he's taking a break, but is so appreciative of his fans, and sees and feels their love and support." Co-star Jensen Ackles has also spoke out in support of the actor, saying "He's a big guy with a big heart, and sometimes he just doesn't know when to stop giving himself". "And he gives himself a lot to what he does, he gives himself a lot to you guys, and he gives himself a lot to his family, and his friends, and his work, and his job. Sometimes you just need to get home and rest with your family. That's what he's doing."
