I’m A Celeb fans are furious after James Haskell and Ian Wright’s comments last night suggested that Santa Claus isn’t real.
Scenes that aired on Thursday night showed the campmates reflecting on some of their favourite festive traditions before taking part in the second Reckoning.
James said that his parents had gone “all out” and “spoilt him rotten” in their efforts to spark some Christmas magic.
“I was so lucky as my parents spoilt me rotten, Christmas was the most magical time and my favourite time of the year,” he began. “I had footprints on the carpet. Half-eaten mince pie. Carrot teeth marks in it.”
Meanwhile, Ian said that he had been Father Christmas for his daughters when they were younger – and recalled how Lola, one of his daughters, grew suspicious pretty quick.
And while the comments aired after the 9pm watershed, viewers weren’t happy about what the pair had implied – and took to Twitter to share their anger.
